Minnawarra House Family Support Program
Minnawarra House runs a wide variety of programs aimed at supporting families through social, practical and therepeautic groups. Our groups are open to residents of Armadale and the South-East Metro area. Most groups welcome people off all ages.
Fresh bread, fruit and vegetables are available at 9.45am on Tuesday mornings, to Concession Card holders.
May not run during school holidays.
We host a weekly Coffee & Muffin Morning, and a monthly Bookclub.
Arts and Craft groups
You can learn or enhance your creative and artistic skills with our Creative Magic, Painting and Pottery workshops. Held weekly in the mornings.
On Tuesday afternoons we have the Girls Group group for girls 12-15.
On Wednesday afternoons we run the Kidz Klub groups for children 7-14.
On Thursdays afternoons we have the Young Warriors group for boys 7-12.
On Sundays afternoons Sunshine Welfare Mission hosts the Heart of Love program, with activities for kids of all ages.
Therapeautic and Self-Development groups
We are running an Art Therapy group for women on Wednesdays afternoons.A Meditation group for women runs on Wednesday afternoons.

We host a Seniors Broadband Kiosk, open during office hours, with a tutor available by appointment. On Mondays Lester can teach you how to grow a Bonsai tree. On Wednesday morning we have a Zumba group for women, and in the afternoons a Chi Kung exercise group for all.
